Saturday dawned and we went over our list of moving. Checking every aspect – all services to be terminated. Rested a bit and then had a visit from my niece and nephew one after the other. It was a day of saying goodbyes till we next visited UK. I made a few calls to my friends in UK. My friend Sandhya called but I said I would call later. However it was very late to ring India in the end. It was a strange sort of a day. I think mentally I was saying good bye to so many things that had been my life for 25 years.
